AWESOME GAME--- The Tropico 3 Demo

I've recently bought sins of a solar empire... damn thing took hours to play a map.
Then Dawn of War 2, which was much better, but had some weak spots with the AI and the maps, and the campaign can be beat in a coffee break (slight exaggeration)

However, tropico 3, with a slower pace, is the BOMB. Anyhow don't listen to me, download the demo. I got mine off steam.

I just downloaded that yesterday on a friends recommendation. Damn thing crashed during the tutorial, which put me off a bit, but I'll try again.

If you can stomach the abysmal copy protection, the Anno series (most recently Anno 1404) is fantastic as well. It's basically a little old-world colony simulator with some (very, very) light combat thrown in. Fantastic visuals and pleasing audio, as well.
