So I recently stumbled upon this game that is absolutely fantastic, if simple. Audiosurf (www.audio-surf.com) takes any mp3 (or similar music file) and tracks it into an F-zero sort of game... It's hard to describe, but if you like music, you must at least try this thing out. You can get it for $10 or a demo through Steam. Try it! and if you buy it, here are a few songs that are perfect for it:
Celldweller - Last Firstborn
DJ Shadow - Stem (from the 187 soundtrack) *--
Rush - YYZ
Daft Punk - One More Time *--
Witches - Broomstick - Ddauta - Sambakza *--
And generally ALL fast up-beat trance or drum'n'bass.
And if you're in for a challenge:
Tatu - All the things she said
I've been a lover of audio-visualization for the last 10-15 years and I think this is the most intelligent visual reconstruction of music ever made. If you don't believe me on my word, try the songs I listed above, especially Daft Punk and DJ Shadow... I'm sure you can use your internet savvy to find them.
Other than them, I recommend either very dynamic songs, very energetic songs (with lots of notes, not just hardcore crap), or songs with multiple tempos or better, multiple time signatures.

And GnR Paradise City has to be the hardest song I've played yet.
If you don't mind the music, try playing some
trance/dance songs. I myself can't stand it with a blood alcohol level fit for driving.
