I know it's trite to always call fake, but seriously. How in the hell?
how can someone's brain even process all those colors and sounds that fast?
it's just rote memorization. still quite impressive though.
Beyond belief. I'd like to see his skill at the real keys.
Problem is, on a real piano, each key has a certain sound and you learn to associate the key with a sound, this game, like Guitar Hero, just for the most part randomly assign colors to notes, but not always the same note. So you never learn the sound association. So yeah, as fleetze said, it's just rote memorization. I have a hard time at Guitar Hero because I know how it SHOULD be played. :-p
This is definitely one of those things that makes you scratch your head and ask "why?" I suppose that, "because it's fun" is a good enough answer though. I wonder how many quarters (or whatever) he spent learning to play that game so well.
At any rate, bravo. That certainly is a talent.
