An OSHA inspector arrives on a job site and tells the foreman that the shoring at the site is not safe and will cave in moments before it actually collapses.

I reported a warehouse that I worked at to osha. They came, gave the owners a week to fix it. I was picking up some items to take back to the testing area, when my super comes over. We talk and he is pissed about something. As soon as he starts yelling a loaded pallet with stereo equipment falls 2 feet from where we were standing.
They fixed one bay, and I quit the next day. Osha and Ebay have them blacklisted, and they have multiple class actions against them.

Dude, where HAVEN'T you worked? You have the craziest stories. Keep 'em coming, stay safe.
Here in California, shoring is required for a trench deeper than 5 feet. Also, up to 5 feet, depending on the soil type, it is customary to have the walls angled at 45 degrees instead of vertically.
This is TOTALLY irresponsible. I'm glad nobody was killed and I hope the company got their asses handed to them.
What!? You mean companies will ignore work place safety in order to increase productivity and reduce operating costs? This shatters my whole world view about the decency and social responsibility of others. No, no wait, my world view consists of a bunch of shortsighted greedy selfish individuals who ease their conciseness by refusing to believe problems exist in the first place, so I guess my perception of what reality is, is still pretty much intact.

The OSHA guys probably rigged that wall to fall, just to make himself look important!
